All churchwardens and lay members of synod from across our Parish of the Valley are invited to attend the annual meeting of our Deanery of the Northwest Great Chapter. Great Chapter meetings take place once per year and bring together the clergy, churchwardens and lay members of synod from across our wider deanery, which includes the parishes of Mattawa-Rutherglen, Deep River, The Valley, Renfrew, Arnprior and Pakenham. 

This year's Great Chapter meeting will be held at the Church of St. John's the Evangelist, Eganville (109 Victoria Street) on Saturday, October 26th from 10am to 2pm. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the churchwardens of St. John's Eganville for extending hospitality on behalf of the Parish of the Valley and coordinating lunch.

Recognizing that our Parish Leaders' Day was recently held in Pembroke it would be very understandable if only one or two representatives from each of our parish's eleven congregations attended this year's Deanery Great Chapter meeting. Churchwardens and lay members of synod are asked to please RSVP to Rev. Matthew by email at matthewbrown@valleyanglicans.ca to signal if you will be attending, along with any special dietary requirements. 

All are invited to the annual Holy Trinity Pembroke Fall Rummage Sale, presented by the Holy Trinity ACW.

It is held in the Holy Trinity Church Hall, 68 Renfrew St. Pembroke, on Saturday, October 26th from 8:30am to 11am. Elevator available. 

The All Saints Christmas Tea will be held on Saturday, November 16th from 11am to 2pm.

Join us for the Bake Table, Glitz and Glamour, Santa's Shoppe, a Silent Auction, and our annual delicious Christmas Tea. The Tea is only $12 per person!

All Saints is located at 1173 Victoria Street, Petawawa. Parking in the lot beside the church.

The annual Holly Bazaar and Luncheon at Holy Trinity, Pembroke has been rescheduled to Thursday, November 21 from 11am to 1:30pm.

Doors open at 11am with lunch being served from 11:30am. The luncheon is homemade soups and sandwiches and gingerbread with butter rum sauce for dessert for only $12! For the full menu, please click the blue button below!

The bazaar will include knitted, crocheted and other handicraft items, a re-gifting table of gently used gifts and Christmas decorations, a Silent Auction, Fifth Avenue Collection jewellery, and a bake table.

Elevator available. This is a cash-only event.

Tickets are now available for the Church of the Epiphany, Barry's Bay annual Wine & Cheese Pairing fundraiser on Saturday, November 25th from 2-5pm at the Barry's Bay Legion (250 John Street (Hwy 62) at Stafford).

Join us for a tasting of gourmet cheeses paired with fine wines presented by our Ottawa epicurean extraordinaire. Tickets are $50/person with all proceeds going to Church of the Epiphany.

In addition to new combinations of specialty cheeses to compliment good wines, there will be some Christmas baking and other tasty treats to try. At the end of the evening, there will be a wine & cheese cash auction for those who wish to try some more at home or for gifts.
