Messy ChurchJoin us this Saturday February 1st at 10:30am for Messy Church at the Laurentian Valley Four Season Trail Lodge (2 Henan Road, Pembroke). Families of all shapes and sizes are warmly invited! Come as you are, bring your kids and/or grandkids, and join in a fun morning of celebrating faith with fun, creativity, and hospitality. We will share in some simple faith-based games and activities, have a short time of worship, and end with a delicious lunch at 12pm kindly provided by St. George's South Alice. All are then welcome to stay beyond lunch to take advantage of the Four Seasons skate and snowshoe trails, or just hang out at the Lodge. We have the Lodge booked until 4pm. Shrove Tuesday Pancake MealsWe are nearly halfway through the Season after the Epiphany and are journeying towards Lent. As always, the Parish of the Valley marks the end of Epiphany and the beginning of Lent by feasting on pancakes! More details, including specific start and end times, will be available in the coming weeks. Online Worship in the Parish of the ValleyIn addition to worship in person, we are pleased as a parish to be continuing to offer worship online and via television. For online worship this week, you can watch the service that was filmed live at Holy Trinity Pembroke last Sunday. It will be available for watching anytime from midnight on Sunday onwards. Click the blue "Click to Pray" button below to be taken to our online service page. This service will also be broadcast on YourTV Ottawa Valley. Our weekly service airs on YourTV (Cogeco Channel 12, HD Channel 700) every Sunday at 10am. We also invite you to watch this Sunday's service live from Holy Trinity.
