Choral Evensong at St. Patrick's Lower Stafford

Dear Friends across the Parish of the Valley,

This coming Saturday, March 22nd, the Parish of the Valley has the honour and delight of welcoming the Christ Church Cathedral Ottawa Girls Choir to sing a service of Evensong at our beautiful St. Patrick’s Church, Lower Stafford.

Did you know that the Christ Church Cathedral Ottawa Girls Choir is the only all-girl cathedral choir in Canada? Established in 2001, it has become a welcoming community where friendship and comraderie flourish alongside excellence in sacred music. The choir is known for developing complete musicians and confident female leaders.

Since its inception, the choir has toured throughout the UK, Germany, France, Hong Kong and Japan. Later this year, they will be undertaking a performance tour of Ireland!

We are thrilled to host our Cathedral’s Girls Choir for Choral Evensong, this Saturday March 22nd and 4pm. Please plan to join in!

Although seating is limited, there are still more than two dozen seats available for you to come and bring your friends and neighbours. If you would like to reserve a seat in advance, you can do so by clicking on the link below or by calling Gail at the office (613-732-4658).

We will be receiving a freewill offering at the door. The suggested donation is $40 per ticket, though contributions of all sizes will be gratefully received. Proceeds will equally benefit the Girls Choir and the St. Patrick’s Building Restoration Fund.
