Each Lent we share a number of daily devotional reflections that parishioners may enjoy adding to their daily prayer practices throughout the season. This year we again have some familliar and some new suggestions for you to consider.
The Primate's World Relief & Development Fund again offers a daily reflection from Monday-Saturday and a PWRDF story on the Sundays in Lent. You can sign up to receive their daily emails here.
Lent Madness is a fund and interactive daily Lenten practice where we learn about the different men and women listed in the Church Calendar of Saints. It is in the format of a tournament-style elimination bracket and each day you can vote for one of the profiled saints. You can read about the saints each day on their website here, or on their Facebook page.
New this year, but following up on the success of last year's Advent Reflections, is a downloadable pdf booklet of daily Lenten Scripture readings and reflections edited by a priest in the Diocese of Toronto. It includes reflections written by a diverse group of clergy and laity from across the Anglican Church of Canada, including reflections by Rev. Matthew and Rev. Gillian. It can be downloaded from this link.
